It includes physical, sexual, verbal, emotional, threats, coercion, economic or educational deprivation. #Sussexsquad Let’s talk about it & join the fight to #EndGBV
There are so many kinds of GBV that are not taken seriously but have serious consequences; Emotional abuse, psychological abuse & economic abuse are invisible but dangerous forms of violence that many women endure. Violence is unacceptable and we must speak against it.
Gender-Based Violence is not just a ‘women’s issue’, but an issue that concerns all men too. Harry has been a feminist & advocates for gender equality before his marriage. He has spoken about the need for more men to speak up! No wonder they make a great team!

Many people believe that catcalling, insisting on collecting phone numbers and other personal information, following women and girls, etc is a ‘compliment’. But these behaviours make women and girls feel uncomfortable, unsafe and threatened. Sexual harassment is not a compliment!
