The official statement released on the couples Archewells website is:
“It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world. Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA.
She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home.
Liberty Diana entered the world 2 days before anybody knew.

I swore I would make a big deal about the lack of leaks from Camp Sussex for the rest of all time, because we know this would not be the case if Harry and Meghan were still on Beans On Toast Island.
With the exception of media trolls, Meghan had a relatively peaceful pregnancy this time.
She wasn’t made to trott out for photo-ops, tours, and hospital press calls after she’d just pushed out her kid. It is disgusting The Royal Family still trott women out like that after they’ve given birth. Tell me again why this family is relevant in this day and age?
Princess Rachel Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex, the first black-bi-racial woman of her kind, got full control of how she gave birth and announced her pregnancy. I know we want to relish in the joy of this moment, but let’s not let the importance of this escape us. The glory of a woman of colour taking full control of her body and child having escaped this dated institution. GLORY!
So what do the names, represent?
Lilibet is a tribute to Harry’s Grandmother. Those of you who are fans of The Crown will know that Lilibet is a nickname that the family gave to Queen Elizabeth because she couldn’t say her name properly as a child. Diana, of course, is a tribute to Harry’s mother.
It was a bold move, and I’m glad they did it.
