Meghan And Harry Will Be Interviewed By Queen Oprah

Name me something funnier than The Derrangers, Carnival of Experts and British Press losing their minds over every single move Harry and Meghan make?

I’ll wait….

At the time of posting this article, we’re four days out from the announcement that Harry & Meghan are going to be interviewed by Oprah on March 7th. As usual, the Carnival of Clowns have gone into cardiac arrest and are messing up their face paint.

Someone call Jeffery Star, we need help reapplying lipstick.

Before we dissect the upcoming Oprah interview, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and remind ourselves what happened the last time a member of the Spencer family did an in-depth tell-all…

On November 5th 1995, Princess Diana of Wales sat down with journalist Martin Bashir at Kensington Palace for an interview. It later aired on November 20th on BBC’s Panorama. 23 million people (39.3% of the population at the time) in the UK alone tuned in on premier night, but Diana’s words were heard around the world.

It became the 6th most-watched interview of all time, did collateral damage to The Monarchy, and after much resistance, The Queen finally allowed Diana to divorce Charles.

It was also the interview in which Diana would utter these legendary words; “I want to be the queen of people’s hearts”.

Just like that, she solidified her place in the hearts and minds of the people around the world, in a way no other royal has ever managed to do.

I often wonder, did Diana understand the power of what she said and what it signified the moment it left her lips?

Diana spoke from a place of authenticity, a trait she shares in common with her second daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle. Meghan has the same gift of connecting with people through speech. It’s not just simply the words she speaks, but the tone, pace, and way in which they are expressed. It is powerful.

There is immense power in claiming your own narrative, this is what The Firm took from Meghan while she was still under their control, and now she has her power back.

If you believe the hearsay, The Palace and courtiers are nervous about the Oprah interview. Why would anyone not guilty of anything be nervous?

The Firm has ties with known (Saville) and alleged (Prince Andrew) sexual predators, but is still defended by its most loyal peasants. What on Earth could Harry and Meghan say on top of that, that could destroy The Royal Family? Randy Uncle Andrew hasn’t brought down The monarchy, Harry and Meghan verifying The Palace is full of Mean Girls will?

The fact of the matter is that no one actually knows what Harry and Meghan will say. Whether they choose to go nuclear or not is left to be seen. It will be mighty funny if after hyperventilating for the next 2 weeks, H&M hardly mention the other Royals or their critics at all, but they have every right to throw a bunch of grenades if they want. The only thing we can know for certain is that there will be a focus on their charitable endeavors.

Oprah likes to make her guests feel comfortable, but she’s also not afraid of asking tough questions and is able to get candid answers.

Oprah if you didn’t know, also holds the record for the most-watched interview of all time. On February 10, 1993, she sat down with Michael Jackson for what would become the most-watched interview in television history. Over 90 million Americans alone tuned in to watch Big O interview MJ from his Neverland Ranch. He had not given an interview in 14 years.

With that type of viewing power, this could end up being the interview of a generation.

The internet slander towards Oprah since the announcement of the interview has been nothing short of insulting. She is the Queen of her own empire, not the welfare queen of an empire built of the back of colonialism and tax-payer funds.

There has been some suggestion that Oprah won’t dare ask questions about the Royals incase she burns some bridges with The Firm. Emily Mathis, Martin Bahsir and Andrew Morton were all British journalists who had no issues stepping on The Firms toes, but Oprah, Queen of America will hold back…

BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA

Only if Harry and Meghan put certain questions off limits themselves, NOT because Big O is scared of anything or anyone. Imagine you scoop what could be the interview of the decade, would you hold back? Why worry about burning bridges when you built an entire empire yourself?

Set your timers and buckle up, the next two weeks will be a wild ride.
