The Invisible Contract Is No Longer Invisible.

The invisible contract is no longer invisible.

Of course, those of us who have kept a close eye on the British Press games have been playing since Meghan arrived on the scene knew.

We could see it from the beginning.

How else was Royal Reportes, aka The #CarnivalOfSoCalledExperts, able to get so much false dirt on Harry and Meghan while they were still working royals? How else was this smear campaign against the couple able to go on while allegations about Williams alleged infidelities and Prince Andrews shenanigans went largely underreported.

Almost every week, we get more evidence that proves people within the palace – the courtiers, the vipers – and yes, other senior working royals – were plotting against Harry and Meghan.

This week, attention was brought back to the invisible contract when we witnessed an article about Kate Middleton disappear into thin air.

An article popped up in The Telegraph Online that criticized Kate Middleton’s collaboration with Jill Biden and quickly disappeared from the site. Of course, the internet is forever, and The Squad screenshot the hell out of that mess. So what happened?

Last week, the leaders of the G7 met in Cornwall, England, and among them, of course, was Joe Biden, who Professor Jill Biden, his wife, accompanied.

As part of their bid to promote the importance of early childhood development, Kate and Jill Biden wrote an op-ed for CNN. You can read the full piece here, but this is a section from the piece:

“We both have work to do in our own countries, but we also hope that we can work together across borders and oceans on how to elevate the importance of early care and learn for children. We should undertake new, international research projects and highlight the most successful, innovative examples of early-year interventions that we can all share and learn from. As we look to a post-pandemic future, few issues are more worthy of our attention than the transformative power of early childhood care and education for our communities and nations. We look forward to championing this work in the years to come.”

So all very straight-talking and nothing that would raise much of an eyebrow.

Following the release of the op-ed, The Telegraph (aka Kensington palace’s favorite mouthpiece) released a somewhat out-of-character article stating that Kate was in danger of becoming too politically aligned with Democrats. Kate is a working royal and future Queen consort; she will increasingly come into situations where she will meet world leaders from everywhere. When you consider the royals have regularly met with controversial figures like Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Saddam Hussein, Jill Biden scores a 0 on the problematic scale. However, there is a point to be made here; Kate did no such thing with Melania Trump. So why did she choose to do this with Jill knowing most of the Royal base is not liberal? As part of Kate’s meeting with Jill, the pair did a round table with various other speakers on childhood development. While everyone spoke with confidence, Kate struggled. So not only did she look unprepared, but she also potentially angered her right-wing base. Can someone explain what the point of this was?

Jill, of course, is an educator and has been for 30 years; Kate likely wanted some of that shine and prestige to rub off on her own project. Who cares about Royal protocol about being apolitical when we’re desperately trying to compete in a popularity contest in which the other team blinks and wins. Also, were they trying to send some message to The Sussex’s, like ‘Yeah, we’re down with the Bidens too, don’t get too comfortable over there? Was Kensington Palace using Jill? As we know, Harry, Joe, and Jill have been close for some time. More than anything, though, I think The Cambridges want so badly to be like Meghan and Harry, but they’re trying to do so within the rigid walls of the firm, and so very move is bound to fail, and fail they do.

Kate claims to have been working on childhood development for the last 10 years. If she’d learned anything, surely she could have written it herself or teamed up with professionals from the UK in the field to write the piece on. I’ve never once seen Kate sit side by side with a top professional in the field of childhood development or highlight their work, something Harry and Meghan ALWAYS do. Leading psychologists were featured in The Me You Can’t See. Harry spent time with professors and researchers before he wrote his piece on social media in Forbes. Team Cambridge wants the glory without doing the work. The Sussex’s do the darn work and give others a platform recognizing it’s about the cause – not about themselves.

The double standard applied to Meghan is rarely applied to Kate, and I don’t recall anyone actually calling their piece political. Were it not for this Times Article; I would never have even known the piece was written. The piece barely trended. So what happened? Was this a case of a writer at The Telegraph having keyboard diarrhea and shitting out word salad? They couldn’t help themselves, could they? They just HAD to insert Harry and Meghan in there somewhere, and The Telegraph shot themselves in the foot.

This entire debacle exposes yet another issue The Cambridges have, especially Kate and her chosen causes…

Childhood development shouldn’t be political; it should be a common cause everyone is behind, but when you’ve had 10 years of Tory cuts and children in Britain being fed by UNICEF and food banks, it becomes political by default. Really, that’s the problem here. The Royal brand is meant to be apolitical, but nothing in this day and age is free of politics. How does one talk about childhood development without talking about the social inequality reinforced by a class system that the Royals sit at the top of? How can you authentically approach an issue with solutions when your very existence is part of the problem? How can you say you want fair treatment for children and families when you believe in the divine right of kings, that GOD literally appointed you!

But there you have it, the invisible contract clearly on display for everyone to see. Picking and choosing who they protect while throwing Harry and Meghan under the bus.

Thinking about the vipers, Meghan was surrounded by makes me shudder.

Thank god they got out – thank god!

Correction: an earlier version of this article stated that the article about Kate Middleton was featured in The Times, it was infact, The Telegraph.
