A virtual “baby shower” is being held by the Sussex Squad; a group made up of men and women from different countries, who have never met each other in person, but communicate via social media. This event is a celebration to welcome Baby Sussex. It will begin on Sunday, March 31st through May 12th, 2019. “We wanted to do something special and enduring to honour a couple who has already started to make a very positive impact on the world, and to celebrate the birth of their first child by helping causes that are close to their hearts.”
All well-wishers of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are invited to join. In lieu of sending baby gifts, the group kindly asks donations be made to one of three charities associated with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex: Camfed, Mayhew and WellChild.
Camfed- Educating impoverished girls in rural Africa. CAMFED is an international non-profit organization tackling poverty and inequality by supporting girls to go to school and succeed, and empowering young women to step up as leaders of change. To donate to CAMFED, please visit camfed.org/
