The Sussex Related Things We Look Forward To In 2022!

While The British press continues to act like a crazy ex who needs to be sectioned, Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan, and Archies Chickens are booked, busy, and minding their business in Montecito.

Between a stunning appearance at the NAACP Awards, chilling at the Super Bowl and Archewell showing support for a number of women’s rights organisations to celebrate Women’s Month, 2022 is proving to be golden for our faves.

All we do, as usual, is win!

The best part is that we’re only getting started, so let’s look at what else Team Sussex and The Squad has to look forward to in 2022.

The Sussex Squad Owning Our Power

Not just owning it, but be careful what we do with it. People are watching the Squad, the British press is watching the Squad, (they’ve finally acknowledged we’re not paid bots), and it’s obvious by now that even The Palace is watching the Squad. Attention and engagement are power and also translate into money. Let’s not feed the trolls our attention unless it’s absolutely necessary to. We have to pick and choose our battles carefully, after all, don’t our faves?

For example, remember when Richard Eden thought he could start something and got his master’s rose bush antics trending from Shutter Island to Jamacia? It put him in his place, so do we need to engage with him again? I think not.

People like Christopher Bouzy are strategically exposing trolls and attempting to get to the bottom of who, and what is really behind the online smear campaign against Meghan, the truth will come out – we only need to be patient.

Meghan’s TV Show, Pearl + Archewell Audio

Netflix recently put out an ad looking for a talented designer to create the overall look for Meghan’s upcoming animation Pearl. This suggests other creative parts of the production are coming together nicely. I’m particularly excited to see who will voice the characters! From the information we’ve been given so far, Pearl is about a young girl traveling through time to meet inspirational women from different time periods. Given how many well-known faces took part in the 40×40 campaign, Meghan has her pick of the best professional voice actors and popular celebrities working.

Of course, we know that television isn’t the only media avenue Harry and Meghan are taking on. Despite the overdramatic articles coming out of the UK press regarding Archewell Audio, it is not unusual that Sussex’s podcast is taking time. As many have noted, previous Spotify Podcast signings such as the Obamas took almost a year to launch fully. Judging on the heavyweights that featured in the Christmas special, we know whatever is coming will be a hit and get record-breaking streams. Sussex haters are more eager to hear from Harry and Meghna than their own fans…

Prince Harry’s Book

What will he say? Will he drop all the bombshells, or hold back? It is tempting to speculate, but one thing I’ve learned as a Squaddie is to let Meghan and Harry do what is best for them, and 99.99% of the time, they make the right choice.

There was a lot that wasn’t said in the Oprah interview that has come out since because The Firm always tells on itself. It’s like some strange self-sabotaging ritual, no matter how hard they try to conceal their evil underbelly, their dark deeds continuously find their way to the light. The Firm does a good job of exposing themselves, so it’s not like Harry needs to expose these people, they expose themselves.

What I do think Harry will want to do, is speak his truth and despite what the tabloid mouthpieces have to say, there’s nothing slanderous about speaking your truth. Had Diana not spoken her truth, we wouldn’t know what that rancid institution is really like.

The Invictus Games

This year Invictus Games is set to be one of the most successful and widely covered since Prince Harry launched the event in 2014. The UK press loves to feign disinterest, but we know how badly they want fresh shots of Harry and Meghan, and even more crucially, their children, although it’s left to be seen if the little ones will come. The Royal Rodents are required to cover the remaining working royals via the ‘invisible contract’, but the Sussexes bring in more money’. Will the rodents break rank and run to The Hauge to cover Harry and Meghan, even if it means side-lining official royal engagements? They’ve done it before, and they have bills to pay.

More Media Appearances

Meghan’s appearance on Ellen came as a pleasant surprise, of course, the Sussexes are, building an entertainment company as part of their empire. Appearances on talk shows and Hollywood red carpet events will, hopefully, become a more regular occurrence. Showbiz runs on networking, and Archewell Productions has money to burn, who wouldn’t want to collaborate with The Sussexes?

Here’s me hoping for a Sussex appearance at The Oscars, on Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel, and anywhere else we can have a good time.

The Royal Mafia can carry on cutting ribbons and petting goats, Team Sussex has better things to do.
