Yassssssssssssss! I got what I wanted. Harry and Meghan have left everything behind. They have given it all up. Their titles and EVERYTHING. So many things to look forward to. They will no longer use HRH and they will pay back the money used to renovate Frogmore cottage. I am sure no one asked them to, especially since they outlined on their website that it would have been renovated even if they were not there. This was the biggest boss move of all.
A lot of people are asking why they have to pay back the money for a house that does not belong to them. Well, first of all, people have been hanging that over their heads so they just took their power back. Secondly, I imagine what they spent on the interior work was probably more expensive than the renovations and they didn’t want that to waste. Harry & Meghan lived in a one-bedroom apartment compared to where the rest of the royals lived but people kept talking about Frogmore Cottage. I guess black people can’t have nice things even if those nice things are insignificant compared to what the rest of the royal family enjoyed.
See, when your faves are creative, smart, hardworking, good people, you don’t need to worry about how they will make money. You just know they will.
No matter how the royal family tries to spin this, they bear all the blame. In three years, they did not release one statement in support of Meghan and now they want to act like family? So the queen “recognized the challenges they faced for two years” and never said one word in support of them. Meghan was never appreciated by the royal family.
Harry spent 10 years in the army. Look at all his legacy projects at 35. Meghan spent less than two years in the royal family and she accomplished more than anyone else in the family, especially the one that has been there for 8 years with nothing to her name. Harry & Meghan will continue to overshadow the royal family even as private citizens. Not because they are royalty, but because they are just two hardworking, regular people who happened to fall in love. Most people in the 21st century can relate to them.
Meghan was never commended for all her hard work. She was thrown to the wolves and was never welcome. We are talking about the Hubb Community, Smart Works, Marks & Spencer, and even British Vogue today, because of Meghan. I never opened a copy of that magazine and now I have one on my coffee table, because of Meghan.
So many haters are stumped and don’t know what to say because the talk was “Meghan is a gold digger”, “All she cares about is the status”, “she’s just there to increase her profile”. Well if all these are true since they say she controls Harry, she should have used her influence to force him to stay so she can continue enjoying the perks right? Fools!
We are all rejoicing because we know our faves are hard workers and we know they have been held back. We did not start stanning because of titles and tiaras. I started following them because of their love and their shared commitment to do good in the world.
So, who are they without their titles? That’s Mr. & Mrs. Mountbatten-Windsor to you. 🥂 🥂
