Sussexes Sleigh Santa Season

The British Media has gone nuts

Sussexes Sleigh Santa Season

As the world and it’s wife know, the Sussexes are on a well-earned break from work until the New Year holidays. That has not stopped the gutter muckrackers and thrash websites speculating, repeating unfounded libelous stories and basic schoolkid lies.

There has also been the odd and stupid intervention from Rod Stewart, a 75 year old Scottish singer one has to avoid his music like avoiding having one tooth pulled out by a dentist without anesthetic.  That man has been knighted by the Monarch in the last year, so he feels he has a right to condemn the Sussexes for not spending Christmas with her.  His contention was that the Monarch is 93 years old and needs her family around her for the festivities.  However, should there always be so many of them, so much so other equally important families are ignored?

As it is a kind of condemnation, of course, the tabloids have lapped it up, as if that man was the heir to the throne and his opinion mattered. The annoying bit of the story of the Sussexes “no Christmas show”, is the inhuman and disgraceful disregard for the other side of their family, that is the Duchess’s mother.  Ms. Doria Ragland is the only acceptable family the Duchess has and the only child.  For some newspapers and some idiots, who deliberately forget how that plays with her and even question the Sussexes intention, is crass, ignorant, dishonest and nonsense.

Of course, the Sussexes walking with the rest of the royal family in and out of church this Christmas would have been a nice public relations optics, especially with Prince Andrew now in the doghouse and with more revelations about his devious activities coming out every day. It makes one wonder why all these stories were sat on by the newspapers all these years but chose to torment the Duchess, who had done nothing wrong whatsoever and just married into the royal family.  They could have revealed Prince Andrews’ activities and written the truth about the Duchess at the same time and achieved a much better outcome.  But that is not how tabloid and conservative journos work.  The word decent is alien and dirty to them.

We have not had a single sight of the Sussexes, but apart from the latest terrorist knife attack that killed two innocent young people in London, they are still exercising the minds of depraved editors across the globe.  Speculation has been rife as to where they spent the Thanksgiving, where they would spend the Christmas with Ms. Ragland.  Would it be in California or at Frogmore Cottage?  The newspapers are camped permanently in Windsor just to sniff the whereabouts of the couple and their son.  It is insane, but it is happening.

In the absence of news or sight of the couple, the gutter press and its equivalent website worms, have resorted to the old story of ‘enmity’ between the Duchesses Sussex and Cambridge.  There is nothing in that, but who is counting, as long as they are stirring horse manure that is all that matters to them.  They are even peddling as a story that the Cambridges are happy the Sussexes would not be at the Christmas church walk to hog the limelight.  They have forgotten they could be sued for libel.  They have also tried to resurrect the private jet story, even though they cooked some aspect of it.  The private jet story has been revived because the Monarch has advertised for someone with a knowledge of booking flights with the environment as a backdrop.

The tabloids have, as is usual for them, ascribed that to the brouhaha over the Sussexes high summer flight to Elton John’s South of France home.  But then, the Queen has never been known to get involved in booking flights for her children nor grandchildren. Needless to say, the Sussexes are not the only family the Queen has nor are they the only ones, who have used private jet.  They all do, but to single out the Sussexes and accuse them of hypocrisy was the highpoint of cheap disgraceful journalism and plain racism.

The Sussexes are on holidays, yet somehow they are ever-present in the news.  When they highlight an event or charity, they are following on their Instagram account, which is reported in the newspapers and on-line news websites across the globe.  Yet, a stupid journo like Emily Andrews would dare stick out her short pudgy neck to say, Prince Charles is going to ‘drop’ the Sussexes like Andrew has been, for what she does not say.  However, for her to seek to equate the abominable Prince Andrew and the Sussexes is, if not madness, then she could be ready to be carted to the nearest funny farm where she lives.

The tabloid journos believe in their own propaganda and lies.  They refuse to acknowledge or stupidly fail to notice that the Royal Family after the Queen, would need the Sussexes to harness their popularity among the next generation to keep the royal boat afloat.  The Cambridges cannot do that.  Of course, they have some fans among the elderly but fare badly among the youth, whose critical support would count most in twenty-five to thirty years’ time.  There have been recent leaks to the tabloids that Duchess of Cambridge is going to do a cookery special with a known octogenarian former television cake bakery show presenter.  Now that is something the pensioner brigade might watch, but the millennials would not bother with.  There is no attraction and links to the people they are supposed to Lord over in the future.

All these so-called royal reporters are hurting, because they are being totally ignored by the Sussexes, where good and encouraging news stories. always come from.  The couple are able to dictate their own agenda and that must hurt their lazy journalism terribly.  Each time they write a sloppy arrant nonsense about the Duchess of Sussex, a prominent citizen goes on the radio or television to denounce them and defend her.

Their supporters are very vigilant and combat ready to complain or protest to where it matters.  A case in point is the fat Irish idiot morning television presenter Eamon Holme, who called the Duchess ‘uppity’ over the staged Wimbledon story.  A British supporter of the Duchess complained to Ofcom (a government regulator) and then to the television company boss.  The boss last week apologized to the Duchess on behalf of the company with an assurance that the offending word would not be used at the station again.

A last encouraging note.  The tree-planting endeavours of the Sussex supporters has caught worldwide attention and imagination.  It was discussed on a television programme in Australia.  It has been reported in the news media over here.  My sincere congratulations to all who participated.  It is a sure sign of support that the royal family and the news media cannot easily ignore.
