The last few weeks have seen a flurry of headlines from the British Press slandering Harry and Meghan. Each one has been more random and bizarre than the last.

What, exactly, is the Queen going to sue Harry and Meghan for?

I don’t think this action is something The Queen herself instigated, I actually don’t think there is any legal action being taken at all, however, I don’t think she’s going to reign in the palace staff either. There is, as always, debate about what she can and can’t do. Of course, nothing is off limits when it comes to protecting the nonce son and it’s our faves who get u tin the firing line.
Imagine announcing that you want to launch a lawsuit against two people who left your institution because of emotional abuse, when a woman has just filed and sexual abuse case against someone with in your own institution.
The nonce was served with papers by his victims lawyers and the palace is in overdrive trying to cover up the dirt. He’s refusing to cooperate and after a half assed effort at covering Andrew just enough to not make it look like they’re favouring him, the press have pulled back on coverage.
Think, for a moment, what type of message this is sending to abuse victims across Britain, and across the world. What does it say to the people of The Commonwealth, that The British Monarchy that resides are a bunch of pervert protectors.
This comes from a long history of abuse with the Royal institution and British establishment. It’s considered normal, and routinely swept under the rug. Andrew has in some ways, become a shield for many other shady goings on within The Firm and connected bodies of power.
Jimmy Saville was one of Prince Charles best friends, he regularly made staff within the Royal households uncomfortable when he would visit. One of the Queens nephews was jailed for sexual assault, and there have always been whisperings about whispering about other royals and their associates.
It has been said that many countries in The Commonwealth are waiting for the Queen to pass before pulling out. My question is: why wait? Isn’t the fact that The Monarchy is protecting an alleged sex offender who was friends with the prosecuted sex offender Jeffery Epstein enough? That’s literally all anyone would have to say.
You can also bet that the same headlines that always get pulled out of the recycling bin every time The Firm panics will probably resurface when Harry’s book comes out next year. Can we all agree not to pay attention to that shit show when it starts please?
