Why is The King Of Clowns allowed to abuse Meghan Markle?

Once upon a time, a British journalist we’re only going to refer to in this article as The King Of Clowns and Grandmaster Of The #CarnivalOfSoCalledExperts, released photos of British troops torturing Iraqi prisoners. It was later revealed that the photos were fake, but releasing the photos put British troops on the front line at risk. As the lead editor of the paper that released the photos, The King of Clowns was later sacked.  

Many years later, it was revealed that the phones of high-profile individuals and private citizens in Britain were hacked. Among the everyday citizens hacked was a murdered British schoolgirl named Milly Dowler. The King Of Clowns not only knew of the criminal behavior being carried by his colleagues and others in the industry, but he also failed to raise the alarm. As Brian Cathcart for The Byline Times states in a brilliantly worded article:

“After January 2001, thousands of people were victims of hacking – including victims of crime and terrorism, people in witness protection, bereaved families, people whose private lives offended the morality of editors, people who were simply witnesses to public events, and ordinary people who were related to famous individuals or in relationships with them. At the very least, hundreds of these were victims of ….(The King Of Clowns)… own newspaper while he was editing it.  If he had chosen to, he could have taken timely action to prevent much, if not all, of this – and he might even have prevented the hacking of murdered teenager Milly Dowler’s phone in 2002.” 

How would anyone recover from that?

How can you reinvent yourself after being exposed as a corrupt opportunist?

Well, if you’re a privileged, rich, white, and well-connected man who knows the secrets of enough high-profile people, it can easily be arranged.

The King Of Clowns would later make his comeback as a judge on a major British talent TV show called Britain’s Got Talent. A man who probably can’t play the whistle, do a two-step on the dance floor, or sing twinkle twinkle little star in tune was given a spot on prime time British television.

All previous crimes were forgotten, and talented hopefuls would wait in anticipation for approval from their overlord, who became a household name and fixture in celebrity circles.

Then, one fateful day, he would meet a future duchess for a drink at a pub. She would never meet him again and would not extend an invite to her wedding.

Since then, what has followed is a relentless bullying campaign in which The King Of Clowns has used his platform to harass and bully The Duchess and incite others to do the same. Even though she has never publicly acknowledged him at all, he continues to use her name as a means of promoting himself. I’m not sure there’s any other reason tv networks would be interested in speaking to The King Of Clowns. What else does he have to offer the general public?

If The King Of Clowns were an average Joe, his behavior would have landed him with a restraining order, and perhaps in some jurisdictions, jail time. Instead, the British (and some American) media have given him ample air time to bully a pregnant woman carrying a high-risk pregnancy after a miscarriage. This is the same person who would not doubt complain endlessly about cancel culture (yet he’s given the largest platforms to speak) and freedom of speech (yet he uses his to abuse others).

However, this is not the first time the King Of Clowns has lashed out at a woman who would not bend to his will.

In May of 2017, several civilians, including many young girls, were either killed or injured during a terrorist incident at an Arianna Grande concert. He attacked the pop starlet for not sticking around and visiting victims in the aftermath.

Dictating that Arianna should have stayed in the face of extreme terrorists is a form of emotional abuse and quite frankly disgusting. Later that same year, in October, a rouge-citizen would conduct a mass shooting in Las Vegas. I don’t remember The King Of Clowns demanding that any of the performers at that event visit victims in the hospital. He wouldn’t because none of those acts were as recognizable as Arianna; mentioning them wouldn’t have given the King Of The Carnival Of Clowns the attention he so desperately craves. We really don’t know what intelligence was relayed to Arianna’s team by British authorities after the incident and shouldn’t judge.

The King Of Clowns would later go on to take back his words, but only after meeting Arianna in person. Give him access to you, give him a nice smiling picture with you, let him use you to get more clout and all will be forgiven. Put up any boundaries, or stand up for yourself, however, and you’ll be at the receiving end of his psychotic rants. What a sick and twisted place we have come to that we allow this to happen so brazenly, and what does it say about Britain that this maniac has become the nation’s loudest voice?

At the height of his remarkable comeback into showbiz circles, The King Of Clowns was given a prime spot on America’s CNN network. Someone actually thought this guy could take over Larry King…

Even with his problematic past, as CNN is a major network, he would interview many celebrities, including Beyonce. He later attacked her for paying homage to The Black Panther party during her Superbowl performance. After three years on the show, it was clear the American audience was not connecting with King Clown. That, along with disclosures of the phone-hacking scandal ( although CNN denied it had anything to do with that at the time), resulting in him getting axed.

So after yet another failure, where could The Clown King go next? Back to his home nation, of course, where he was given prime time with his own show interviewing celebrities. He would later land a spot on Good Morning Britain, and up until recently, that’s where he was executing his bullying campaign. After an altercation with a fellow host, he was kicked off his last show, although undoubtedly pop up somewhere else soon enough.

It is a sad reflection on the British public that he has continued to have a career and a platform to spew his vitriol. It’s never about informing the public with this Clown, only generating drama and clicks.

If we are to believe his recent claims, his attacks against a pregnant duchess are being sanctioned by the very institution that failed to protect her. It goes without saying such attacks would not be tolerated if they were being lobbied at her sister-in-law.

If karma is real, we will know soon because this Clown will get his comeuppance sooner or later.
